Engineering Completed Works

• A children park in AD block (Sishu Tirtha) has already been developed and landscaped very recently. This is the first Children Park in New Town.


• A public football playground has already been developed very recently. This is the first public playground in New Town. The public football ground located AD block Action Area I.


• Installation of Traffic Signal in 1^st Rotary (AA-I) along with Control Kisok have been completed.


• NKDA have stated to collect, transport and dispose municipal solid waste from the township from November, 2011.


• Beatification work has been completed from the Bridge over Kestopur canal upto 1^st Bridge over Bagjola canal along median verge of M.A.R.


• Plantation of coconut trees along link canal connecting Bagjola and Kestopur canal have been completed.


• Introduction of Fire Audit to check fire safety measurement for large projects.


• Installations of CCTV and fire safety arrangement have been made mandatory for projects in New Town.


• Completion of New Town Business Club.


• Construction of two community halls in AA-I with accommodation facilities.


• Setting up five more community markets in different locations of AA-I and II.


• Mechanical sweeping and clearing of roads.
